Oracle Cloud and Loss of all data

A while ago, I bounced upon an article mentioning Oracle Cloud’s generous Always Free Eligible services:
The Always Free Arm access gives developers four Ampere A1 cores and 24 GB memory — one of the industry’s most generous offerings
I’ve had experience in AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, Alibaba Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. but never tried or heard of Oracle cloud before. so I signed up for a brand new Oracle cloud. 😎
I am living in SEA, so I chose Singapore to be my home location and got offered a generous 400 SGD free credits to use toward their non-free resources. 🥰
I came back later to find out my brand new account is provisioned and ready to use! so it’s time to discover this shiny new cloud service. They even have Terraform modules to provision resources. 🙂
The Beast VM — Free 24GB RAM 200GB SSD 4Core 3.0Ghz ARM CPU 🤩
I followed some online guides to make sure the resources I create will fall within free resources where I have a fully functional Kubernetes cluster.
It was hard to gain access to this powerful VM due to high demand. But with persistent effort, comes great reward! The moment someone turns off or deletes their VM, capacity will become available and you can get this VM. 🥳
